The Regular Meeting of the Lingle Town Council convened at , October 8, 2008 with Mayor Walter leading the pledge of allegiance.  Upon roll call, the following were present, constituting a quorum: 

                                                            Mayor:                                     Russell Walter

                                                                        Council Members:                    Tami Brown

                                                                                                                        Dawn Gilchriest

                                                                                                                        Joe Welte

                                                                        Absent:                                    Al Unverzagt

 

                                                There were also present:

 

Clerk/Treasurer:                       David Kendall

Town Supervisor:                     Mike Flock

Police Chief:                             Kenny Elwood

 

CM Welte moved to adopt the printed agenda for the meeting.  CM Brown offered a second and the motion carried on a vote of 3-0.

CM Brown moved to approve the minutes of the 17 September regular council meeting as published.  CM Welte entered the second and the measure passed on the 3-0 vote.

CM Welte reported the bills for September in order and moved they be paid for $121,508.53.  CM Brown supplied the second and the motion was approved 3-0.

CM Gilchriest joined the meeting and this point.

TS Flock reported the electrical outage scheduled by WAPA went well on 4 October.  They were able to complete more maintenance than originally scheduled and potentially avoid an additional outage in the near future.  They were still able to finish ahead of schedule.

PC Elwood reported his department should be receiving some additional grant funds for equipment upgrades and speed and DUI enforcement.
